A VR endurance experience. The ocean does not want you here.
You are on a boat. That is the entire premise and, our players report, more than enough.
SEASICK begins as a gentle ferry crossing. It does not stay a gentle ferry crossing. Our proprietary SWELL engine studies your head movement, your hesitation, and your breathing, and adjusts the sea accordingly. The horizon is procedurally dishonest. The audio mix places a low diesel throb exactly where your inner ear keeps its opinions.
There is no combat. There are no puzzles. There is only you, the rail, and the question the North Atlantic has asked every human who ever crossed it: how long.
What began as a game became a contest, and what became a contest became, briefly, the most-clipped thing on the internet. The rules of the community standard are simple: headset on, stream live, bucket visible in frame at all times per regulation.
| Rank | Captain | Time | Outcome |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | GRAVLBOX | 3:41:09 | Walked away. Did not speak for a day. Changed his content forever. |
| 2 | DeckhandDiane | 2:58:44 | Retired mid-stream to pursue farming content |
| 3 | yung_ballast | 1:47:02 | Regulation bucket |
| 4 | ThePropellerGuy | 1:12:56 | Regulation bucket |
| 5 | Admiral_Crouton | 0:22:18 | Immediate, historic, still replayed at sporting events |
Times are self-reported, chat-verified, and disputed constantly, which is the point.
SEASICK is endorsed by no gastroenterologist. We approached several. The meetings were short.
Consult a physician before playing, ideally one with a sense of humor and a tarp.
